Blinded

This is one of my favorite dogs, Sadie. I painted her this past week while on a short visit in Florida. Sadie had her eye removed this year due to glaucoma, and she can’t see anything with her other eye for the same reason. She has adapted well to her new state. Her brother, Dusty (not my Dusty dog, another one though) is trying hard to become competent in his new guide dog role. My trip to Florida was seemingly good for business. I‘ve now got a couple of new commissions to do in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more additions coming soon to the gallery!
