Inspired by the great NW!

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to show off two of my new pieces, both watercolors I finished during a recent trip by Euro-campervan in and around the Olympic peninsula. One is called "Falling" inspired by a couple of beautiful crispy leaves I found amongst many soggy ones on the camp floor. The other piece is called "Sitting on the deck of the bay." I painted this while sitting on the deck of our small cabin (post-camping, glamping accommodations) in the afternoon sun in Westport, WA. This scene shows the marina with its resident fishing boats docked in port. Across the water was Bennett's Fish Shack, which BTW really did have the BEST fish & chips ever! Enjoy!
