Smokey the Llama Therapist

Just finished and uploaded a new piece. Some of you may have seen an unfinished version of my take on Smokey after I spent some time with him a couple of weeks ago at a special event hosted by Bottle & Bottega. I finally found a bit of time to complete my impression of him using acrylic paint. Check it out in my gallery. I was particularly struck by his markings and facial hair, sleepy eyelids, and the gentleness of his underbite, all of which seemed to make the process of eating quite difficult for him, (especially hay)! What a character! If you ever have a chance to experience painting therapy with llamas and/or alpacas, I highly recommend it!
