Waiting for Grandpa

Finished this commission project today. It is interesting how some paintings just come together so easily and others are super challenging for me. For example, the last dog portrait took me several days, whereas this project took me only the better part of a single day. This project involved several layers of acrylic paint, acrylic crayons, and metallic pencil on a 16 x 20 canvas. The buyer requested I insert her new red door vs. the old white one that's in the original photo. So, I did:-)
